Record Collector is proud to bring you our first soundtrack release in our Rare Record series.
The French film Mariage Collectif (Collective Marriage) was released in 1971 with a full soundtrack composed by Jean Pierre Mirouze. Although Ember records acquired the music, they never issued the soundtrack LP. Record Collector are proud to issue the Collective Marriage soundtrack mastered from the original master tapes, housed in a sleeve that replicates the master tape box.
Musically, Collective Marriage is vibrant and compelling and not only features Together and the sought after beat driven organ pleasure of Sexopolis but other great instrumental tracks like Lovers Party, Tivoli Gardens, Tandoori Dance, Karin On The Bike and even an instrumental version of Together played on muted trumpet that sounds as if Miles Davis had wafted into the studio.
Collective Marriage can be brought on its own or as part of a bundle with the Together/Sexopolis single.
