RECORD COLLECTOR RARE VINYL SERIES Presents...
Agincourt's "Fly Away" LP

All tracks are remastered from the original tapes, and beautifully housed in a specially designed sleeve with band approved, eye-popping artwork.

Limited edition of 750. Up for grabs is the best acid folk album you have never heard. Released in 1970 on a extremely limited run of 50 copies, Fly Away by Agincourt was conceived as a concept album by two muscians - Peter Howell and John Ferdinand, each track honed from intense at home labour - not a touring repetoire. It is also a timeless album that sounds contemporaneous with artists like Midlake, Fleet Foxes, and Belle and Sebastian. And to entice the avid collector, the mint original is these days valued at £700!

Remastered from the original tapes our 180g vinyl repressing of Fly Away has tried to replicate in every detail possible the original pressing, from the original labels to the thin card of the outer sleeve. It even states: "demo recording not available for general release" on the rear of the sleeve, just like the original. Each album comes in a strictly limited edition and comes with a numbered certificate signed by the Editor of the Rare Record Price Guide, Ian Shirley. There are also colour sleevenotes included on the certificate.
